I was a Grace Livingston Hill fan from highschool when I found Marcia Schuyler. I would buy her books in bulk off Ebay for a few years. One of these collections included a copy of Tip Lewis and His Lamp. As I acquired some of the Grace Livingston Hill Omnibus collections, I found Mara and An Interrupted Night. These led me to hunt up Isabella Alden. I read somewhere(can’t for the life of me remember where) that Mara was “controversial” when written. Fascinated, I hunted the internet and found this site. It has led me to enjoy many of her books even more as I understand the references better! I think my favorites are Tip Lewis and His Lamp(always loved!), The Pocket Measure, and Unto the End.
