Rev. D.L. Moody and Isabella Alden were contemporaries who shared a common mission: bringing biblical truth to everyday Americans through accessible, compelling writing. While Isabella wove Christian principles into her stories and novels, Mr. Moody taught them directly through his preaching and writing.
In 1896 Mr. Moody published a twelve-part Bible study series in The Ladies’ Home Journal. He called his series, “Mr. Moody’s Bible Class.” Each month, readers across America studied the fundamental doctrines of Christianity under Mr. Moody’s guidance.
These studies are now available for a new generation! Each lesson has been carefully formatted in large type, with reflection questions and organized Scripture references, making them ideal for personal devotions, small groups, or Sunday school classes.
